Happy Summer! I hope this letter finds you all well and enjoying some sunshine :)

We are so thankful for your prayers -thank you for upholding our family. SO much has happened since I wrote last month.

First of all, I am writing from beautiful Pismo Beach, CA. Scott is working this summer for a great friend who has a property management business. This is so much better than being in North Dakota away from us for the whole summer! Thank you Lord! 

As if that wasn't enough, God has also provided an amazing house for us to stay in. The sweet family is away for the summer and we are house-sitting. It is in a beautiful spot with lots of room for Luke to run and play; again so thankful!

The last few weeks have been eventful. A bench seat fell on Luke's big toe and tore out the toenail and fractured his first two toes-ouch! It was painful and sad, but he is doing much better now. We're praying there wasn't too much damage and a new nail will grow. He missed school but was able to make it for the last day and program which was so cute!

We all caught colds, Scott finished the semester well (straight A's!), we worked on packing up for the summer, went on a quick trip away (thanks Mom Nelson :), celebrated Luke's 5th birthday, packed our car to the hilt and headed out!

We arrived in Pismo Beach and were able to stay with some great friends. Luke and I headed out the next day to spend a little time with my family and Scott started his job. We came back last weekend and moved into the house. Whew!

We will head back to Portland early August and spend a little time in Seattle. Scott has some construction work for a dear family there. School starts back up the end of August. Scott has one year and 2 classes left-yahoo we're getting there!

It is good to be together as a family-I am overwhelmed at the Lord's provision...so much more than we could have asked for! Thank you for your prayers and support. We love you!
